Perfect, April 18, 2012 This review is from: SHURflo� Blaster Washdown Pump (Misc.) I'm using this pump to wash the sand of my kayak when I go to the beach. I can run it with my small fish finder battery or my car battery both give plenty of power. Water pressure is great, I did change the nozzle that comes with it for a better one. Excellent pump!, September 23, 2011 This review is from: SHURflo� Blaster Washdown Pump (Misc.) I have an off grid cabin and needed a solution to enable me to wash down my equipment, water my garden etc. I used this pump and hooked it up to a 12 deep cycle marine battery with my 200 gallon water tank supplying the water. It comes with 2 connectors for 3/4 ID tubing and one connector for a garden hose. This is a great pump! Lots of pressure through my 50ft garden hose and I really like how the pump only kicks in when I pull the trigger on the water nozzle (that's included with the pump) saving battery power and pump wear. Overall, if you're looking for a reliable wash down pump for marine or any other application this is a great choice. Skip the lower volume 1gpm pumps and go with this Shurflo model which provides ample pressure for cleaning applications.
